Maestro Sani: Rooted in Transformation
For more than 25 years, Pierce has stood beside people as they come to understand themselves more deeply, trust what they feel, and make choices that bring them closer to the life they want to live.
He brings this depth of experience to every Soul Journey. Because what matters is not only what happens in ceremony, but how it is understood, integrated, and carried into life.
Trust grows when we are given the space to speak honestly, explore our experience and find meaning in our own time. When we are heard without judgement, we begin to see ourselves more clearly. New possibilities emerge, and change feels less like something we must force and more like something we are ready to welcome. Pierce has brought this foundation into his work with ayahuasca, bringing together what the medicine can show us, and what years of working closely with people have taught him about how change takes root.

Dear friends,
I was born with the name Carl Logrecco and was known by it for many years. After the passing of my father, I found peace and guidance through meditation, and in a deeply personal act of release, renewal, and becoming, I embraced the name Pierce Ahmen.
Later, through my ayahuasca path, I was given the title of Maestro Sani.
Together, these names tell the story of a life shaped by grief, transformation, devotion, and an ever-deepening commitment to walking beside others with presence, reverence, and care.

The Ground We Share
Assumptions can create distance before a relationship has even begun. We may imagine that a spiritual teacher has overcome every struggle and arrived somewhere the rest of us are still trying to reach. Experience has brought me insight and perspective, yet life continues to offer new ways to grow, change and learn. Far from being something to hide, this ongoing growth is one of life’s greatest gifts. None of us is a finished story. Our lives may take different forms, but far more connects us than separates us. Beneath our individual stories are experiences we all recognise: love and loss, fear and courage, longing and discovery. I meet people on the common ground between us, where our separate stories become part of a shared human journey.

When the Path Opened
What began as a search for my own healing became the work of my life.
I trained extensively, coached hundreds of people, built workshops and retreats, and devoted myself to understanding how human beings transform. I worked with fear, shame, identity, communication, embodiment, leadership, relationships, and the beliefs that quietly shape the way we live.
For more than two decades, I guided people through powerful turning points, long before I encountered ayahuasca.
When the medicine finally entered my life, it did not begin my path. It revealed the deeper purpose within everything that had come before.

Becoming Maestro Sani
In 2022, following the loss of both my parents, I felt an unmistakable call to Mother Ayahuasca. My earliest ceremonies were profound, demanding, and life-altering. They opened a path that required far more than belief. It required surrender, discipline, study, and complete devotion. That path led me to the Peruvian jungle and Flowers of Life, where I studied with Maestro Alfredo Picotto Panduro and Celia Panduro. I later returned to live and work closely with my Maestro for a full year, followed by an extended period of solitary healing and practice in the Costa Rican forest. Across more than two years, I immersed myself in the medicine through ceremony, study, personal healing, and guided shamanic practice. I continue to learn, practise, and work closely with my Maestro today. Through this path, I was given the title Maestro Sani. An honour I received not as a declaration of arrival, but as a responsibility to continue learning, serving, and carrying the medicine with integrity.

Walking Beside You
Walking Beside You
The Guide I Became
The Guide I Became
Today, I bring together two paths that have shaped my life: over 25 years of transformational mastery and a profound devotion to plant medicine and shamanic practice.
I understand how to guide the human experience surrounding ceremony, how to help people prepare for what may arise, recognize the deeper pattern within an experience, give language to what they are feeling, and begin turning revelation into meaningful change.
That is the heart of my work at Soul Journey.
I do not stand above anyone’s path. I meet people within it. With presence, honesty, compassion, and the willingness to go where the real work leads.
I have walked through loss, fear, resistance, reinvention, and surrender. I know what it means to search. I know what it means to break open. And I know that a profound experience becomes truly transformational when we learn how to carry it into our lives.
I do not walk the path for you.
I walk beside you as you discover the power to walk it for yourself.
